His previous work as a consultant, project manager, and Executive Director of the Richmond Arts Coalition, where he championed community arts initiatives, has shaped his approach to music as both a personal and collective journey.

In addition to his music career, Rob has also delved into writing with his memoir, Singing with the Trees. This transformative book chronicles his personal journey of self-discovery and creative evolution during the COVID-19 pandemic. Set against the backdrop of Vancouver Island, Singing with the Trees explores themes of personal growth, connection to nature, and the power of music in navigating life’s challenges. The book is a powerful extension of Rob’s music and offers an intimate look at the experiences that have shaped both his artistic and personal evolution.
